LG Leon Review
Date:November 13, 2018
I have been using this model for more than three years, so, I guess I can share some information about it.
Of course, this cell phone is quite outdated at the moment but it can be very useful for those, who want to save money on gadgets.
I do not think my review can be of interest for social networks or gadget geeks; I have written it for ordinary people, who seek a functional device for everyday use at a reasonable price.
The first thing to admit is that despite being based on Android OS, LG Leon's user interface is quite different from Samsung models, so it will take some time to get used to it.
Nevertheless, in my opinion, it is really user-friendly and can be easily understood even by non-advanced users.
I find it reasonable that LG Leon's interface does not abound in those unnecessary flashy effects, which are only memory-consuming.
It is remarkable that LG Leon's start button is placed on the back and not on the right side of the phone as, for example, on Samsung models.
As for me, it is quite a controversial decision: on the one hand, the button is quite large, hard to miss and comfortable to press; on the other hand, it is very likely to be pressed occasionally, especially if you keep your cell phone in the pocket.
The next thing I would like to describe is the LG Leon's camera.
I have to confess I'm not a very enthusiastic photographer (I don't even have an Instagram account!) and I didn't take pictures very often.
But when I did, I was really satisfied with the result; I guess that the model's camera isn't the best one available but it can give you very decent results.
Nevertheless, the camera is not very efficient in the dark; of course, it has a flashbulb, but I wasn't really satisfied with the results, maybe due to my personal misunderstanding or strictness.
Finally, I have to tell that LG Leon operates at a reasonable speed and has a reliable accumulator.
If you have a 100% (or even a bit less) charge, you can be sure it would last for all day.
I have to remind you not to keep too many windows open – this really slows the phone down, but, in my opinion, not only LG Leon has this fault.
I hope this review will help you to make a choice.Leave a comment
